You may have already learned a simple way to express future intents in Spanish:
This is a way to talk about things that are going to happen (periphrastic/intent). It implies that the action is fairly immediate. However in everyday conversation, this construction is used more frequently than the future tense. Now, there are only a handful of verbs that are irregular in the future tense. There are three ways that the stem of the verb can change. a. Replace the final vowel with [d]. This only works with certain [-ER] and [-IR] verbs. poner salir tener valer venir b.
