Tipping is a concept that is natural for most US/Canadian citizens, however you’ll find that this practice is not the same around the world. For many countries, tipping is either a new concept entirely or is just automatically built into the price of the meal. In your travels around the world, make sure to check your bill to see if an extra 10 or 15% has been added automatically to the bill (even in small groups or by yourself). There are times where I still find it hard to not tip certain service people. Makes me feel odd.
